Yea I would think they'd wait til daylight. was some thick fog out there this morning that took a few hrs to burn off out at the breakers (north entry to portage canal). Wasn't bad for being 44 degress. saw a few young deer come to the waters edge. ill upload a pic of that later. Thanks for the heads up, appreciate it.

Canadian Progress indicates an ETA of 8:30 a.m. at Hancock.

Canadian Progress departed Thunder Bay approximately 6:15 p.m.
rough ETA for Hancock 7:00-08:00 a.m. Monday morning. I would think they would time their arrival for daylight.

Yep always is a partial load, usually an Algoma boat brings the other partial load a week or 2 later. Usually unload part at Sault Ste Marie, MI first before heading here. Weird because they have told the guys at the dock they'd be in yesterday than today...but I see they are still sitting in Thunder Bay.

Just a guess, but they may have been loaded too deep to transit the Portage canal. Maybe they're only bringing a partial load to Hancock.

Well as of 10:25am est there is no sight of it anywheres near the North Entry Breakwaters. I am guessing it will be here later today?

No idea. they were headed north after they were abeam of Whitefish Pt. instead of heading west towards Manitou. they may be taking the extra long way because of the weather earlier today. Just a guess.

They unloaded at the Soo early Friday morning, possible ETA for Hancock would be Sunday around 8:00 a.m. although when leaving Whitefish Bay her course was more for Thunder Bay, Ontario, weather may still be a factor.

Thanks. About how long til they get to Hancock? I know they gotta go up and around the Keweenaw since they will not fit under the lift bridge.

Thanks for the update. The weather this way is going to turn ugly before tonight. So far just tons of rain and winds are picking up. Someone please let me know when the progress leaves the soo. Thanks so much.
