The tugs in question are the Jenny Lynn which is currently sunk in 16 ft of water with only the top of the pilothouse above water and the former William Hoey which was aground near shore but is now at anchor about 50 yards south of the Jenny Lynn. Preliminary reports are the former William Hoey is the culprit.

I did. They didn't have the info I was looking for. Who was aground and who was at anchor.

Cheboygan oil spill

Does anyone have any info on the oil spill near Cheboygan in Duncan Bay. I first read about it in an email newsletter. The article there said that two vessels were in the area. One was anchored and one was aground. Anyone have the skinny on this?
