After looking at the satellite map, the tug with the black wheelhouse roof and sunvisor is the old Sachem. As the Derek E, she had this black paint on her.

The below link brings up the latest Google Maps satellite view of the Egan Marine yard in Lemont, IL. The satellite shot is from July 1, 2010 according to Google. Click on "Satellite" in the upper right if the map shows instead of the satellite photo.

There are a number of old tugs there looking fairly forlorn. Which of the tugs is the Derek E./Sachem?

She was raised in 1951. She is currently the Derek E., undocumented since 2002 but I believe still tied up at the Egan Marine yard near Lemont, Illinois.

Does anybody know if the tugboat formally known as the Sachem is still around? I read a story that she was raised from lake Erie and returned to service.
