Seaway had both listed as Canadian flagged yet under Ocean for
Ocean Vessels. Help, as I am confused with this and also, Seaway
lists the new Algoma's a.e. Guardian and Discovery as Ocean yet
both of them are flagged Canadian also. Am I missing something?
A few of Desgagnes vessels are reflagged every year, Anna, Camilla, Rosaire, Zelada, Sedna, etc. a change of crew also comes with the reflagging, this is to save money while the vessels operate outside of Canada, in the Summer months these vessels travel within Canada and have to be flagged Canadian, it is similar to the Jones act in that aspect. Only difference is, the ships don't have to be built IN Canada
