The Carrot Cake Lady duplicated that feat a number if times.. Even going to a single slalom ski. Had to top 40 knots to keep her blue polka dot dress and floppy hat dry.

Speed limit is/was 10 upbound and 12 downbound

I'm pretty sure you can be fined for going that fast in the rivers. Not to mention violating the laws of physics.

Unlike every other vessel this week, the Gott seems to be making good time upbound in the ice on the St. Marys River.
