I think the Sandusky Bay cam must have worked for about 2 days and no more since. Ya can't really watch anything on the Register cam because it doesn't give you a time allotment. Can hardly ever watch anything. I sure wish the Bay cam was working.
However, Some very nice person has been watching the Manitowoc go into the coal dock. Beautiful!

I sure hope I'll soon be able to watch the Funcam again. I really enjoy watching the loader work. Hopefully soon!

Best bet is to e-mail the camera provider directly, they can fix/answer what is going on.

Heres what I got:
I'm sorry for the inconvenience, we did some maintenance on our system today and it knocked out the funcam unexpectedly. We should have service restored tomorrow.

Thanks so much for letting us know!

A message posted on the site indicates they're aware of a problem and are looking into it.

Good Point Mike, Thanks. JAVA is installed properly on our company system that feeds back to the house; works on every other app. But have to agree with Boatkitten.

Someone else posted Sandusky FunCam.Com (whatever, owned by the local Sandusky newspaper) the cam is "not reliable."

Not reliable? That's hard to believe. It's owned and operated by a newspaper... Having said that, how can the term "unreliable" even be in the equation?

Hi, I had been watching that cam everyday. Watched one day, then next day, that's what I found. Haven't been able to watch it in about 3 weeks now. My computer says I already have Java still. I wish I could watch again.

Sounds like you don't have JAVA installed

I can get to the page, but the camera is blank with a red "X" up in the left hand corner. I have Java. What am I doing wrong? TIA
