Today was a perfect day (69° in November!) to get my flower beds ready for winter and spend some time at the river watching and photographing a few passing ships.

- The saltie Finnborg (Netherlands) was leisurely cruising (as in barely moving) up river to her Chicago destination.

- Watched tanker Esta Desgagnes maneuver into position at the Corunna Fuel Dock.

- Although St. Clair's river walk is decorated for the holidays, it seemed more like summer as Lee A. Tregurtha headed to the AK-Rouge plant.

- Thunder Bay, up-bound in ballast, to Thunder Bay.
