meant to say i wish i had thought to take a camera with me back then in 1977 and took some pictures of them. i was all over the richardson, top to bottom.i wish i remembered more about the steam engine layout,i do remember a very large piston pulled out and setting next to it

the richardson was in layup in cleveland and was towed to toledo in 1977 . i helped get her ready for the trip and loved getting to see a laker and seeing the g tugs tied up just ahead of her. i got a tour of the ohio just after her engine replacment. what a treat for a 18 yr. old to see and i wish i could go back and get picture
