Thanks Bookworm for that. Very much appreciated and will certainly keep those in mind. As far as the trip goes up there, not 100% sure yet if I will be going or not this year? I got two older brothers and one that lives out of state. The one that lives out of state, he runs and owns his own restaurant business so it will not be easy for him to take time off from work and take me up north. My other brother works in Toledo at the Jeep Plant there and does not have or shows much interest as far as taking me up north or going up there sad and sorry to say. I just was looking for any heads up reports just in case something did come up at the last minute to where I’d go up there. My out of state brother I don’t think has ever been up there and would not be familiar with the route like I am. My only regret is I never kept a log or records for myself as far as the drive up there to the Soo and Rogers City and back to home. Wish my folks would’ve suggested and mentioned it once to me and surprised that they never did! Thanks again for your help my friend.

Just curious if anyone can give me a heads up as far as what type of road construction projects are going on along the route up north to the Soo Locks? It seems they are always working on the Mack Bridge as I totally get that plus it seems around by Flint and where I-69 and I-75 along with 475 all come together, they are always working up through there at least. Another couple of areas is by the Zilwaukee Bridge in Saginaw and up by Bay City. Sorry to ramble on but, just curious if any boatnerds can tell me anything as far as trying to go up north and what the route is like as far as road work? Also are they doing any projects and work in or around the Soo area and the local roads themselves? Anyone with any information is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
