Tug Evalina has spent the last couple of winters fishing Lake Huron out of Sarnia.

Transport Canada lists as built by S.G Powell at Dunnville Ont in 1953 and rebuilt in 1987. Like many Ontario fish tugs, it has been retrofitted with a hydraulic crane replacing the A-frame (to lift the large plastic totes onto the dock) and a 7 person fully enclosed survival boat/pod. Here is a photo taken before that work was done. http://www.accudredge.com/

Evalina is a Lake erie style fish tug. The large 'wrap-around' door is for setting nets. She spends time on Lake Erie and Lake Huron, and was heading back north.

Is she a private or research type of vessel? I love the wrap around stern window.
