If anyone hasn’t seen it or noticed yet, there are a few U.S. Lakers that are flying the America 250th Anniversary & Birthday flags 🇺🇸 this year. Two of which I’ve seen so far are the barge Menominee & tug Olive L. Moore along with the John G. Munson. The Munson, I saw yesterday and they were flying two different America 250 flags. The barge Menominee is flying their America 250th flag on the barge portion only! It’s certainly is great 👍 to see a few American flagged vessels flying the America 250th Anniversary and Birthday flag this season. In 1976, I was only 4 years old at that time yet I’ve seen photos and heard many stories about ships then that were specially decorated then for America’s 200th Birthday! Although no ships this time are decorated for the 250th celebration, it’s still nice to see the ships flying the flag for the 250th Celebration at least! If anyone knows of any other U.S. Lakers that have the 250th flag, please post it here so we can all keep a watch on them then! Also, please send in and provide and post any photos. Afterall, this is a once in a lifetime event and occasion as far as America’s 250th Anniversary & Birthday!
