Looking at the pictures, the longest new dock being built is 52 boats slips long. That dock has to be 650 feet long with slips and walkways/docks between the slips, even with 2 slips sharing one dock. Id hate to have to drag gear out to the furthest slip!

Wow, big place! I'd hate to have my slip on the end of one of those docks. You'd need a golf cart to get out there!

Looks like the Donald C would up at the new 31st Street Harbor, which is a new 1000 slip recreational harbor that the City of Chicago is building for around $84 million. Primary storm protection will be provided by a large stone revetment so many barges, including the PM 41, have been hauling core stone and armor stone there all season.

The tug Buckley came through Sturgeon Bay today pushing a load of rocks outbound to Lake Michigan. Anyone know where the hauling the rocks to and what there building?
