I would also like to echo Dan McNeil's comments and also wish to thank Bookworm as well for the Great, Excellent and Outstanding photos that you have posted and shared with us boatnerds all year and winter long. Like Dan's comments, I too have to travel in order to see any ships on the St. Clair River or the Soo Locks. I am very lucky that I have a fairly short drive of maybe an hour and about 40-50 miles to get to the St. Clair River. However I do not get out much in the winter months due to weather but, more challenging is the snow and ice on the roads. My point is since I do not get out much and travel in the winter, folks like Bookworm and the others that post photos here are a welcome relief and sight for many of us boatnerds like Dan and myself and others that have to travel long distances to see the ship and do not travel much during the winter.
Therefore, I wish to thank everyone for posting their photos here.

Thank you for your kind words, Dan. Because I know what it is to have to make travel plans to see Great Lakes ships/boats/vessels only occasionally that I enjoy sharing my photos with Boatnerds who don't have the opportunity I do now. I hope you are enjoying good health this winter.

Despite dreary skies and a biting wind, the action drew quite a few boat watchers to the river this afternoon.
