I answered my own question by going on the Port of Milwaukee website. The Lugano is waiting for a cargo before it exits the Lakes.

Been anchored off Milwaukee for a week. Any idea on a next destination?

Thank you very much Garbear for your kind comments. I guess you are correct in what you say. Milwaukee does not often get a mention on the Boatnerd site so this was my attempt to put the post into the news.
I did try to do as you suggest but there was no response; maybe it is not geared up for overseas comments, after all it is a very specific area i.e. The American Great Lakes and the St. Lawrence Seaway, that are reported.
As I do not live in Milwaukee ( I am in SW England setting out point of some of the Pilgrim Fathers)- but I do speak with a friend by radio link each morning and afternoon as he drives from the north of Ozaukee County to near General Mitchell airfield and back - I am unable to give details of the various activities of vessels in the Port of Milwaukee. Sometimes my friend sees salt and other commodities being unloaded, which he reports to me, but he does have to keep his eyes on the road especially with all the reconstruction on the Hoan Bridge and accesses.
regards,

This will be my last post to this board. I thought it was a discussion board but does not seem so. Someone in my earlier posts suggested I post details on another part of the web site. I did send email but it was not used - or received - so I did not continue with that avenue.
Thanks to those that responded to my posts.
I would say in fairness to the "Boatnerds", a post saying that a boat arrived and went to a dock really doesn't warrant discussion. You should start a Milwaukee post on the Vessel Passage page. I know I appreciate the posts.

Lugano is now moored in Milwaukee Bay, preparing to sail elsewhere I presume.

AIS actually shows her on the railroad tracks right now!!. But I am sure she is south of the elevator almost near the "V" at the lower end of the mooring harbour.
I hope that info is useful.

Is the Lugano at the elevator berth or the general cargo dock south of the elevator? Thanks.

The Swiss registered bulk carrier Lugano arrived in Milwaukee Inner Basin around 09.45 CT today. She was accompanied by two of the ports tugs which have brought her to the Nidera wharf.
