Local Scuttlebutt is that the dock the Lake Superior was at (Duluth Timber & Storage) has been raising their rates and the owner, Bob Billington, simply moved the tug to a less expensive location. In addition to being cheaper, it is also a much better built dock with less storm surge wave action. Which is also why the Heritage Marine tugs are there. A full concrete dock with secure heavy duty bollards is a much better place.

Looking at some of the news pics a few weeks ago, and knowing the Ojards of 'Heritage Marine' I believe they bought it. Billington has been the owner for years and did nothing with the tug. I hear she is in great mechanical shape so i'm happy to see it being used.
