You can find a list of vessels passing by any location or port by going over to the Boatnerd AIS website.

From the menu, select Vessel Passage, and select Port, from the menu. All the vessels are timestamped, and you can also search by vessel. The only thing missing is an entry for a date range ...

Some webcams while watching the fighters have a online chat mode which makes it more interesting and hold folks attention while waiting, gets 500 viewers at a time, but requires heavy moderation to prevent abuse.

This winter broke the 80 year old historical snowfall amount at Sault Ste. Marie. Hence will also have a big impact on ice conditions.
