A couple weeks ago Miss Laura passed through the Portage Canal.
I assume she will make a return trip to Duluth at some point, can anyone confirm this? Or, has that already been done?

My opinion in the matter of the ASC boats is that I feel the American Valor will likely be converted to a barge; the American Fortitude will in all probability be sold to LLT in Canada; and, American Victory will probably be scrapped. It's a great video and I enjoying watching it, especially the clips taken from Columbia/ON ships. However, there is at least one mistake in the names towards of the end of the video. It lists Ransom Cundy as being from Superior, WI. He was from and grew up in Hubbell, MI.

When I've seen her at Marquette in November, December, and January, they have had most of the shutters on the second deck windows. The second picture is from this past October, the first is from November 2010.

My Dad was in Sarnia last week, here are a couple pictures he look. He said it looks like they had the boom quite disassembled, but it is still on deck and he didn't see anything like a new boom being constructed.

Chief makes some good points, the Meteor is the last of its kind and it is sad to see it displayed the way it is right now. In the fall of 2010 me and my dad toured the Meteor and apparently there were plans to dig her out? I may have misunderstood what our tour guide was saying.

She will most likely be down there tomorrow. I saw her at Marquette yesterday, she's nearing the locks now.
