1) How much coal did the M &B #2(1) carry?

2) How much coal would she have used to keep max pressure for an extended period of time?

3) How was the ash removed from the boilers as she traveled?

a theory, but need some more information about this time of Lake
Erie.

Can anyone tell me who I would have to contact concerning. 1) How thick the ice gets at lake Erie, especially in the area where the M&B #2 (1) dissapeared. 2) where can I get recent sonar charts of Lake Erie.

The debris that floated ashore wasn't the rail cars; there was some from the M&B #2 that was near Erie. Someone found the coal cars about 20 or so miles from Channute (sp?)
