I use "renewable" fuel in my 32' Carver. It is called gasoline. New sources and expanded reserves are constantly being found every day. Now if we can just get the politicians out of the way it will become even more reliable and constant and Cheap.


I know in US gasoline is cheap but here in UK ...

Not wanting to hijack the J B Ford thread maybe its best to start a new thread to discuss renewable propulsion as I believe with a current mix of solar wind and biomass using present day technology we can do without fossil fuels.

I realise green technology has not taken off in the US the same as it has in Europe but Solar is now way beyond recharging your phone.

So thats why we have invested in steam generation using biomass and solar. Steam is certainly at the heart of new green technology
