Re: American Courage and Sam Laud’s stacks
The American Mariner was downbound at Marine City early the morning of April 5 and it looked like it had the GRN stack minus the wheel logo, and I think, the red stripe. The light wasn't that good.

Looks like Jackson may be running up the Cuyahoga from the Lakefront dock and Barker may be running ore from Ashtabula to Cleveland Lakefront. Just an observation and thought.

Re: Herbert C Jackson
That is what she did in 2020. I also checked Marine Traffic a while ago and so far they're showing her as remaining in Detroit at her Lay-Up dock at Nicholson's for now at least. Also, there's nothing posted as of yet as far as a 2021 Fit-Out schedule either on the Interlake website as well! Didn't...

Their AIS is running. Anyone know if she's fitting out soon? She started the 2020 season early. Maybe the same this year.

Yes, I just noticed it. Good to see her out. I always liked her lines. Many years ago, 40+ years now, I got a photo of her in ASC colors and sent an 8x10 color to Adam E. Cornelius himself, which he was thrilled to receive.

So now that the Michigan Trader is ready supposedly, when then will the Dirk depart from Erie to Sturgeon Bay and to connect with the new built barge? Re: Charles Price salvage(s)
I may be mistaken, but I've never heard anything that the Price was ever salvaged. What I recall is she was the "mystery ship" found floating upside down on Lake Huron after the Great Storm of 1913. Eventually, in a few days I believe, she simply sank from sight. Again, I could be wrong, b...
