Have they ever dropped any supplies or a whole pallet in the river by accident?

Fresh Raspberries and a new Barbeque grill on the downbound passage at the Soo. We were guests on the LAT and during the upbound trip to Marquette they asked if we had any special fruit favorites. Someone said raspberries and they had them for us the next day.

Ojibway supply boat

What kind of supplies does the Ojibway supply boat deliver to the downbound ships at the soo? Is it just groceries or a wide range of supplies like clothing, gear, ship parts, cigarettes, oil etc... I see that the ship sends stuff back to the supply boat also I’m assuming milk crates and uniforms. Is this the only the only area on the lakes that they pick up supplies?
