When the two temperature scales agree at -40 degrees, you know that it's cold.

Metric units and cold weather.

In the news today, we are getting temperatures in Celsius and they sound worse than they are. -12 Deg. C only equals +12.2 Deg. F which is a "heat wave" compared to some of the temperatures we have had this winter. We had a bunch of -18 Deg. F this winter that is -27.8 Deg.C. Now That is getting cold!
I was in the UP of Michigan one year and the temperature was -50 Deg. F (without the wind chill).
