Algoma Harvester

Algoma Harvester arrived in Davao this morning. She is currently at anchor awaiting her turn for fuel. She will head East towards Panama on Monday.

From the Algoma Vessel Passage page, she departed from the shipyard in China late on Sunday evening and is now officially underway for the long journey home to Canada. Looking forward to seeing her someday on the St. Clair River. Next up will be the two ships built for CWB Inc. the former Canadian Wheat Board the CWB Marquis and CWB Strongfield. After that will be four brand new self-unloaders for Algoma the Algoma Niagara, Algoma Sault, Algoma Conveyor and a fourth yet to be named self-unloading vessel.

Looks like she may be leaving soon! Her AIS is now reporting her with an ETA for Davao, Philippines on May 24 at 1200 to take on fuel. So with that said, if she hasn't left the yard in China yet she should be leaving any day and time now.

Ahoy there Algoma Harvester and a happy 3 Long and 2 Short salute to you as well. Hoping and Praying that we will soon meet each other somewhere on the St. Clair River maybe during the fall grain rush time this year. Just watch for a guy with an Algoma flag as I hope to be there waving to you guys. Happy Safe Sailings and God Bless and God Speed on your long journey home.
