This was in todays freep.com. They did a very good job in documenting their trip.

They are now headed downbound for Monroe, Michigan and will be finishing their unload of coal there. Should be arriving in Monroe sometime today to unload and be back upbound sometime during the day on Tuesday. Keep checking the freep.com website for more updates on the reporters on board and their trip on the Tregurtha!

Just checked the MERC website and indeed the Big Paul does have a "split" load of coal for both the St. Clair and Monroe Power Plants and they should be in Monroe to unload sometime on June 22nd. They should be upbound sometime on Tuesday, June 23rd coming from Monroe and heading back to the MERC Dock in Superior for another load of coal if anyone is following and tracking her voyage this week. Hope that my information has helped.

Not too confuse anyone that is tracking the Tregurtha this week but, in my earlier post I had indicated that she was expected to arrive at St. Clair on Tuesday in the early morning. That is wrong as she is due in St. Clair early on Monday, June 22, 2015 to unload at the St. Clair Power Plant. I don't know if this is a split load for both St. Clair & Monroe or not? Last checked with Duluth Shipping News' website, they had her back in Superior to load coal again at the MERC Dock on the 25th. Therefore, she should be upbound on June 23rd sometime during the day. Sorry for any confusion here just trying to get it right for anyone and all that may be following and tracking her this week and the Free Press folks from Detroit aboard her this week as well.

Haven't read the article yet but, my Mom showed it to me and also pointed it out to me as well this morning. Glad to see that they are going on the Queen of the Lakes and wish them well and hope they have a good and safe voyage and time on board. Wish I was going on there with them as the Paul R. Tregurtha is my all-time favorite taking nothing away from the other ships sailing. She was the very first ship I saw when I started boatwatching and boatnerding back in 1992 on the St. Clair River. She will always be the Tregurtha to me no matter if they ever rename her or not. Hoping to see them on Tuesday as they are due at St. Clair early morning to unload and should be out sometime late in the day. Hope that Captain Bob will give a salute as well. Haven't seen them yet and can't wait!
