The muddiness come from the runoff of the creeks and rivers empting into the lake due to rain we have been getting.

The lake has an uncharacteristic muddiness today. People notice but no one has an answer. The river is even more mysterious with a nearly perfect dividing line down the International Boundary. It's muddy on the US side and bright turquoise on the Canadian side.
