Yes. The elevation of Lakes Michigan and Huron, above sea level are exactly the same. Therefore, they are considered as one body of water, for that purpose. They obviously fluctuate with wind and sea direction but they are equal in elevation.

The one report on the news page states that *Technically, Lake Huron and Lake Michigan is one body of water*. I've never heard this before- is this accurate? TIA
