It's a design licensed by Fairbanks, Morse (actually Colt Industries, Inc.) from SEMT (Societe d'Etudes de Machines Thermiques) Pielstik of France, which in turn is owned by MAN.

Could be multiple engines.

I saw the updated Fleet Photo Gallery feature on the Tecumseh. It mentioned a 12,000hp Fairbanks Morse diesel and I know that can't be a 38d model seeing those in their biggest make about 3000hp. Is it some licensed model of a MAN, B&W, or MAK made built FM? I know if I had a current copy of KYS I could look it up but I don't.
