American Shipbuilding has been out of business since the mid-80s.

Your link to the Flickr site is very impressive if one is both a boatnerd and a railfan. Loads of great photos of both!

Thanks, much!

The International. Looking for info...

Hi folks. I am looking for info on one of International Harvester's ships, "The International. I have a couple of projects I would like to do.. One is of course to get the info , and I would also like to do an accurate cutout, and eventually a model of her. I have researched as far as the Google would take me. I have researched to a certain extent under the namesakes that hull #784 was given during her career. (W.H Warner, International, Maxine, J.F. Vaughan, and Oakglen 1).
Does anyone know if there are drawings, or if there was a sister ship of the same design that I may be able to find some drawings for? There were some similar designs that came from American Ship Building in Lorrain, but all seemed to have slight variations.
Thanks for any input,
Darryn.
