Re: Arthur M. Anderson
Scuttlebutt on Facebook this afternoon is there have been talks to tow the Anderson "down the lake" to be re-powered.
Re: Arthur M. Anderson
I agree with the comment, "once you see her towed to Fraser" but ofcourse always subject to change we may see her heading there soon.

Re: Arthur M. Anderson
Believe she needs a 5 yr., so she would have to go Fraser before she sails again.Duluthian wrote:What makes you think that she'll sail later this season?Chris M wrote:Needs steel work. Wouldn't be surprised to see her out later this season
I think that JT had it right. If you see her towed to Fraser, then she'll sail. If not, then she's sitting out the season again (probably not enough tonnage to justify operating another boat).

Re: Arthur M. Anderson
You have to remember they also have the Great Republic on charter and they only ran 7 hulls before the leased her, and with her they're only running 7 hulls so they have the same amount of ships active just the Anderson has been out, prior to that the Muson was out for her repower. They'll have the Great Republic until the contract with Consumers in Manistee runs out.Bob wrote:Usually they have one of the triple a's sit out a season but am surprised to see all the other triple a's out and not the Anderson as she sat out last season. Anyone know why they are not running her again this year? Tia

Re: Arthur M. Anderson
Nothing to report at this time. If she gets towed to Fraser for work at some point, then she will sail. However, both the Calloway and Clarke are out this year. based off GLF's practice of sitting out a steamer annually for the (at least) last 5 seasons, I wouldn't get my hopes up.
