Jackman is in Bowmanville, assume another clinker load for Detroit. Radcliffe R. Latimer is downbound L.Ontario listing St. John's NF destination.

It was my understanding that she is classed for Great Lakes and St.Lawrence service only. Hence going to St.John NB is out unless there is some type of special permission. Can someone else comment on this.

I heard she is going to St John, New Brunswick with a partial load of salt due to the strike at Sifto.

Captain Henry Jackman?

Unread post by StClairBN »

I watched the Jackman go by yesterday and noticed a rare downbound trip in ballast. AIS indicates a destination of Goderich but she just came from there. She's looking more than a little tough. She's heading down Lake Erie now destination is still Goderich.

Any ideas as to what's up?

Regards, John
