I figure that at crusing speed, she uses about 5 gallons of fuel per mile.
Plus expenses Fuel surcharge?
It really didn't itemize what "expenses" were extra. could just be fuel, or everything - fuel, food, crews' wages, port charges, etc

Blue Moon came back to Milwaukee shortly after I made that last post, and she's been here ever since. Does anyone know why?

Guest wrote:Thank You, Sharyl, for your update for the Blue Moon in Milwaukee. I am thinking a plane, bus, train, or auto trip between the Blue Moon’s home port of Chicago and Milwaukee is probably less than a hundred dollars. What do you think the cost of the Blue Moon’s trip between Chicago and Milwaukee cost the owner for the ship, crew, fuel, and etc.? And, yes, I am thinking the Blue Moon has a few more amenities not available in public transportation.
If you can own that boat, operating cost is probably not a factor to the owner.
