Re: Wreck info
Also the 2 car ferries John Curran and James Mcphail were sunk in Lake Huron after "supposedly" being hit by a water spout. Wrecks were located in the early 1980s by Stan Stock in 170ft of water 15 miles north of Port Austin.
Re: Wreck info
The Orient Trader burned to a total loss in Toronto harbor in 1965 too.

The wreck of Jennifer seems to have been largely overlooked over the years. I actually came across it accidentally several years ago while doing some unrelated research.jzcleve wrote:MV Jennifer sank in Lake Michigan 1974.
Re: Wreck info

I believe the Ann Arbor No. 1 was salvaged and converted into a barge after burning at the slip in Manitowoc.
