This is a bit off subject but, if the wind up there blew the water out and around it's a good thing I guess that they are not loading too deep up there or else they could really have some issues then, sort of like a few weeks back when the Indy went to anchor for a day or more to await the water levels to come up and that's also when she had that huge record load of ore through the locks at that time!

I guess the wind must have blown water out of the river then?

The Speer is anchored for low water levels in the upper St Mary’s River.
Speer anchored or aground above the Soo?
Does anyone have any info on the Speer? A friend who is at the Soo, told me the Speer has run aground, in the northern part of Whitefish Bay, close to where the Blough ran aground a few years ago.
