Roger Blough's horn?

M/V Roger Blough has powerful twin Airchime horns

Could somebody tell me why Roger Blough's horn sounds so different than most lakers? Here is a really short video I took of her saluting as she passed Mission Point up-bound in the Soo. Notice the Kamikaze jet ski, I would hate to loose it that close to any freighter.
