They are probably going there light & then loading slag or steel biproduct for a Canadian port. They do this north of 7 H.

Noticed on the boatnerd AIS map that the Baie Comeau has their AIS updated and reads “Indiana Harbor as their next destination.” They had been laid up in Thunder Bay, Ontario this Winter. Did they load something at Thunder Bay and then taking it to unload at Indiana Harbor? I’ve never seen or heard of any ship loading in Thunder Bay before and going to Indiana Harbor then to unload anything! Any info is appreciated on this. Thanks in advance.
