Another rare destination to note is the Lee a Tregurtha is heading to uss in Gary,Indiana. Usually interlake does not deliver there.

Re: Rare Destinations
Hi Bob, while I don’t have any records to prove it I gotta believe Presque Isle has loaded before in Silver Bay? However, to your point that IF they’re headed to Burns Harbor then indeed this could be a first for them? I would think they could be taking that load to Indiana Harbor also as I’ve seen GLF do a few trips to IH this season so anything is possible. I don’t believe they are going to Toledo, Cleveland, Ashtabula, Conneaut or Nanticoke but we’ll have to wait and see on that load. Be & Stay Well and Safe along with healthy my friend.

Re: Rare Destinations
Denny, to add to your list of rare destinations for ships the presque isle is scheduled to load at silver bay which I think is a first for her. I would assume she would then go to burns harbor which I believe would also be a first. Orders can change so will have to see where she ends up.

Rare Destinations
Noticed today that the Edwin H. Gott had Burns Harbor listed for their AIS after they had loaded in Superior. Also, the James R. Barker had Gary as their AIS destination after loading in Two Harbors. My point and questions here are this. First and foremost, very rare destinations at least in my opinion anyway for the Gott to be going to Burns Harbor and then the Barker to Gary as well. Second and my questions are. Has the Gott ever been to Burns Harbor before or is this their first time there? Next, has the James R. Barker ever been to Gary before and unloaded there? Seems like the two footers are swapping runs and destinations as the Gott normally unloads at Gary, while the Barker sometimes will unload at Burns Harbor. Is this something new I wonder that GLF and Interlake respectively are doing this season as far as unloading in Burns Harbor and Gary or is this just a one time thing? It would be very interesting to see if the Gott goes to Burns Harbor more and the Barker and the Interlake boats to Gary more. In 2024, I remember and recall the Speer making a few very rare trips to Burns Harbor! Wonder then if the Speer will unload there again in 2025? Thanks for any information on this.
