This description provided above sounds suspiciously like the grounding of the bulker Maccoa. It grounded Dec 24, 2024 near Verchères and was released on January 7, 2025. The McAsphalt Advantage suffered a small fire in Hamilton on December 19, 2024, but I can find no on-line sources that state that it lost power and grounded.
