I am looking for information on the following vessels that are laid up for this Winter in Montreal mainly the Algoma Bear, Algoma Guardian, CSL St-Laurent and the Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin. While I am well aware of the facts that most all of the answers to my questions can be found on the lay up list for Boatnerd, there is some confusion as far as the lay up dates and locations. Listed below are my questions and information that I am looking for on the Algoma Bear, Algoma Guardian, CSL St-Laurent & Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin.
The Algoma Bear arrived in Montreal on January 3 at 0034 via Marine Traffic and at first, I saw on the boatnerd lay up list that it was listed at Section 35. Now as I look, it is shown at Section 56N arriving on January 14. The Port of Montreal’s website shows it at Berth 2 - APM/MPA whatever that means which I assume might be the Mackay Wharf Berth 2? I don’t get where the January 14 date comes in at or its location of Section 56N at? Any information on them is really and very much appreciate and thanks as I’m confused here!
The Algoma Guardian is listed on the boatnerd lay up list at the Mackay Wharf in Montreal. The Port of Montreal site shows and list them being at Berth M-2 - APM/MPA which I assume would be the Mackay Wharf Berth 2 if this is corrrct? Also, the Algoma Bear is listed the same way on the Montreal Port website which I assume both they and the Guatdian are at the same lay up berth?
CSL St-Laurent is listed both on the boatnerd lay up list and the Port of Montreal website at Berth 56S for lay up. From Marine Traffic’s website, they arrived in Montreal via Thunder Bay on December 25 at 1542. I always thought that they went to Viterra Terminal 56 Elevator 4 or something like that anyway with their grain loads from Thunder Bay. So, are they then at Section 56S and is the lay up date correct?
Finally, the Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin is listed on both the boatnerd and the Port of Montreal website as being at Berth 34. They arrived in Montreal then for lay up on December 29 at 1550 from Marine Traffic’s website. Are they at Berth 34 as they arrived from Thunder Bay with a grain cargo to which I had thought they would be unloading at the Viterra Terminal Section 56 Elevator 4 then. Did they ever unload that cargo there or are they awaiting then to unload their grain cargo? Any information is appreciated and thanks as well.
If anyone has or can provide any type of information for me on the lay ups of the Algoma Bear, Algoma Guardian, CSL St-Laurent and Rt. Hon. Paul J. Martin it would be very much appreciated and thanks in advance as well.
