I would be shocked if one of them wasn't named CSL Trillium. then again, if you asked me a year ago. I thought they were all going to be named after the provincial flowers that CSL vessels service.

Besides the Lemoyne which I admit does have lots of history with CSL, another name the Murray Bay also has some history as well with CSL. If I remember, they have had three ships with the name Murray Bay and the Algoma Provider was the last one to carry the name Murray Bay.

As the first two names (Thunder Bay, Baie St. Paul) are Bay-names, my guess is that the rest will be bay-names.

The name Lemoyne certainly has the most history with CSL.

What about these "Bay" boat names Murray Bay, Georgian Bay and the Meldrum Bay? Also what about port city names such as the Toronto, Montreal, Windsor and Hamilton? These all sound to me like good names to choose from.

With the first two names in place, maybe they're going to be "Bay" boats. Nipigon Bay, Whitefish Bay, Black Bay, et.c

Maybe Lemoyne for one? Still best name of all, IMHO!

I forgot that the Martin was a Panamax and will not be trading on the lakes. However, CSL has announced two names for the laker class the Baie St. Paul and Thunder Bay. So, this leaves two yet to be named Trillium Lakers for CSL. Just wonder what names they may choose for the remaining two lakers? How about two former names the Halifax or the Winnipeg? Just an idea and a thought.

Rt. Hon. Paul E. Martin is a Panamax vessel, will not trade on the Great Lakes.

Trillium and Equinox class updates

Just wondering if there have been any new information or updates on the new CSL Trillium class lakers or the new Algoma Equinox class ships all being built in China? Neither CSL or Algoma have updated their websites lately with news, photos or information. There have been "three" new names announced for the Trillium ships the Thunder Bay, Baie St. Paul and Rt. Hon. Paul E. Martin but, what of any other new names? Any information appreciated.
