Capt Claude Ball

With regret , I report the death of Capt. Claude Ball in Halifax at 78 years. Claude had a wonderful career and life including time with the coast guard where he was master of the Baffin and most interesting, the Sackville. In later years he was an avid schooner sailer and supporter of many charitable causes, including the return of the Sackville to the public. He was a fine man.
