Thanks for taking the time to look into this Chris M.
Are the two tugs Spence & Ashton both hooked onto one barge?

Haha, very true Southsideriverrat! Manitowoc is right on Lake Michigan, why would they sent it to Ashland to be put on a barge and shipped off. Must be more to that story.southsideriverrat wrote:Something built in Manitowoc was moved to Ashland for shipping? What am I missing here?

Cool.Chris M wrote:The pair are currenty docked at the empty Reiss Coal dock. After work I will go out and kayak around them and hopefully get some good shots
Thanks Chris!

Maybe Chris M. could stop past the old docks, schedule permitting, and see what the tugs are up to.
Re: Tugs Spence & Ashton to Ashland
Possibly to haul off remnants of the ore dock that is being dismantled?Guest wrote:Anyone have any idea as to what the tugs John Spence and Meredith Ashton are going to Ashland, WI for, or what they might be hauling?
