i was fishing on muskegon lake and was kinda dozing off when wow something big and blue was comming in the channel.glad to see a salty in muskegon but hate to see those wind turbins.i work at a coal fired power plant.

BBC Louisiana passed south of North Manitou Island about an hour ago this morning making 14 knots, AIS reading destination Muskegon ETA 19:00 22 August.

It is due in Duluth but is listed as arriving there on Sunday. Her AIS still reads destination Muskegon, now 1900 on 21 August.

Actually its due in Duluth to discharge windmill parts Thursday or later.

Looks like it will be late, it's still anchored at the south end of Lake Huron. Possibly waiting for a pilot.

Looks like a visit from a saltie might be on the books for early this week. BBC Louisiana is currently upbound the St. Clair River with an ETA reading Muskegon on Monday evening.
