Cape Roger is here for a refit of some kind, it will give work for the people at PWDD. Nothing special about the vessel its just we don't this kind up this way, mostly on the coast of the Atlantic and Pacific.

I see from the coast guard website it's just a fishery patrol vessel with a cruising speed of 15 knots, and I'm wondering, why all the interest in it? Is it here for some special reason or occasion?

Cape Roger stopped for the night at Cornwall underway around 0900 now at Iroquois, if she does not stop for the night at Kingston, she will be at Port Weller tomorrow am, she is a fast ship. Her ETA for the PWDD is Sept 30, 0815 hrs.

CCGS Cape Rogers picked up a pilot and or did an exchange of pilots at Trois Rivieres, Quebec, unlike I reported in my last post, saying CCGS Cape Rogers was exempt from using pilots. she should be at the Achorage at Pointe aux Trembles Quebec, east of Montreal after 1300hrs today.

At the speed she is doing, and I believe she may be exempt from using pilots, CCGS Cape Rogers is 198.3 nm from Montreal, given her speed of between 13-14 knots she could arrive at the Montreal anchorage in about 16 hours.

CCGS Cap Rogersis250.5nmiles from Quebec at 15..5 due there at 0600 09-27, you have to remember Cape Rogers won't be doing the same speed all the way to Quebec, factor in the outgoing tide(s) and due times at the pilot stations, at the moment Cape Rogers is twenty two and half hours from Quebec. Presently Cape Rogers is 64.7 nmiles east of Baie Comeau,Quebec. 0728hrs 09-26
