Best Day for Boatwatching?

Very hard to say because nobody really knows when the boats will leave their respective anchorages. Such a delay can also raise havoc with load scheduling. Empty boats that were upbound before the storm may turn around and load in a southern port and vice-versa. There may have been multiple boats heading for the same loading dock and owners might not want another delay, waiting to load.

Would like to know what day would probably be the best right
now for boatwatching in the Detroit and Port Huron areas?
I am planning a trip to both locations but, not sure yet what day
would be good Friday or Saturday depending on the wind/storm?
