rrtie, you may want to look in the Historical Perspective Guide under M/V Raymond Reiss. She was Hanna's Stmr Emory L. Ford for many years. The gallery has a nice collection of shots taken in 1952. Mike

If you go to the following site hosted by Bowling Green University, http://ul.bgsu.edu/cgi-bin/xvsl2.cgi , you can enter
each boat name in the search box, you will get a photo, dimensions, and a brief history of each boat.
In addition to Russ's list you might also check on the Geo. A. Stinson, Leon Falk Jr. Paul H. Carnahan, Louis W. Hill, Albert E. Heekin, Wm. D. Crawford, John C. Williams, David M. Weir, LaBelle & the Joseph Wood. My dad sailed for Hanna from 41 until 82 when he retired. He sailed on many of these vessels. Good luck on your search. Regards, Mike

My Dad was a mate with M A Hanna, one winter he kept ship on the E T Weir at the Lorain shipyard, me and my brothers were hired part time to change the color scheme in the engine room after school. In 1955 I shipped out of Cleveland on the Edmund Mudge for one trip then was transferred to the La Belle, it was a great job but alas there were no girls to chase.
