It's good to hear from you again. Thank you for responding to the post and the appeals others mentioned here about your well-being/whereabouts.

Please take some solace in knowing that you are not alone in the frustrations you have shared with your experiences in these forums. I too have stopped posting, or rarely post. I shared face to face with another boatnerd poster here about the matters with the Roger Blough when she grounded this past spring while in the Soo at the time. That poster, who will remain nameless, laughed at me and told me I had no idea of what I was talking about. Trouble being, I had first hand info from GLF members. And all I saw on here was the same speculative stuff so many offer, including the ill informed posts he was offering, as well as how many others were just gobbling up his posts as if he was informed. My only guess is that he was given a pass because he posts often, even though many of his forum posts don't often offer info but are nothing more than fishing expeditions.

Sadly, the staff at the Soo Locks info center had bought into his drivel as well. They subsequently were misinforming visitors about the extent of the damage, the cause of the accident, and other details which were completely false.

I get very frustrated looking in here. I wish there was something I can do about it.

Great to hear from you once again Brett. Ignore the juvenile nay sayers and stay connected to those who appreciate what you share. I too don't post here anymore for much the same reasons as you cited. It only takes a couple bad apples to spoil the bushel.

I got to crawl all over these Giants,The Men and Women running them were very Gracious and answered anything I wanted to no,One old timer was telling about the different engines they had in them and how much better some engines were on fuel and others were less efficient!I once went it to unload and the Diesel I had on, would not fit!,I went into talk to the Fuel Boss and He got on the radio and called for the trucks to divert to the Fuel bay and use up some fuel so I can unload!,I said (No!,don't do that!,I don't have the time!)That would have been a 2 to 4 hour ordeal just to make it possible for Me to unload.and I had My E Logs running and couldn't wait for that,so they just sent Me to the Tilden Mine. mn brett

Thank You fellow Boadnerders! I am very flattered ! I took a break from This page as I got frustrated with a lot of comments I have posted! and threw My hands up and vowed to never comment again,when I had facts from the Horses Mouth,on the subject of the Closing of the Empire Mine!,I was literally Driving a Semi,and a Trailer loaded with 7,300 gallons of Died Diesel into the Empire Mine! pumping the Diesel into the Tanks that run the Monster Trucks in the Mines,and While or after I was done with the pump off I would talk to the Men working in the Mines! These Men and Women told Me all of the facts on why and when the Mine would be shut down! I than posted on this page My first hand information !,and I was responded back that I was (CLUELESS) and had NO idea what I was talking about!I believe the letters INC? was the letters meaning I have no clue!
Enough of that!,I do drive truck but I am home every night,I used to happily jump on this page ,but now only check it on Sundays,as a Truck Driver I get up at 3 am,get ready and drive to My Truck parking spot,warm it up and try to have the wheels turning buy 5 am,deliver 3 to 5 loads of fuel and get done any where from 5 to 7 pm and and drive 30 minutes Home again. I hope to have Supper with My Wife,hold Her hand while watching an hour of TV and head to bed,and Oh Ya,am also trying to keep up My numbers on a fire department,so a lot of the nights I have to shoot up out of bed and assist a car crash,or a Medical or Structure fire!,so I have a full plate.
So here We go!,I complain how some write a novel on every subject and look what I have just done!,so thank You Boadnerd Friends,I am pleased and feel a bit special someone would notice My absence,I am real active on Facebook because it gives Me something to do while I am unloading My Trailer,but as always I am after anything I can read about the Boats! No problem there Guest and glad to mention here along with our friend Webster the Soo Camera spider as well. Haven't seen or also heard too much said or mentioned lately on Webster so that also got me to wonder what is going on with him lately? On TV 4 here in the Metro Detroit area, one of their weather people mentioned that he must have "hibernated South as we was on the Windsor camera earlier in the week and it was mentioned with his name then or maybe it was a distant relative, or cousin that he had."

Nope he probably voted early and has now fled the country like a few people have suggested and said they would do. Maybe he is now in the "Witness Protection program somewhere under another alias name of some sort." Perhaps maybe he is working on trying to bring back a counter to the Carrot Cake Lady or Webster on the Soo Cameras as well. Just some thoughts only folks LOL!

Maybe hes' hold up somewhere waiting for the election to be over...

Hope that he can make it to Gales of November next weekend.

I was emailed by Brett in March of 16.Hes been trucking as far as I know.He hasn't posted on here in some time.I do know he tried to have a Boatnerd gathering in Duluth 2 times, but not many people turned out.I,ll have to email him.

Does anyone know why MN Brett has quit posting to this forum? Haven't seen anything from him since May. I have always enjoyed his posts. It would be nice to hear from him again.
