The Pappachristidis fleet- gotta love the clean lines, powerful engines and super French Canadian names. Feux Follets / Canadian Leader was my favourite of the bunch

My favourite ship was the (1)Saskatchewan Pioneer(Kamistiqua)after that the (2)Cape Breton Highlander,9#)Algosea (Saunierre).and my 1st ship the Maunaloa 2nd 1967.

The John G. Munson is a mighty, and majestic laker.

I've got to say the Shenango II. I sailed on her in her original green colors and later as the Beeghly. As a matter of fact I was the first crew member on her at Lorain in May 1959. After she was built in Toledo and sailed to Lorain by the builders. Our first trip was to Duluth, where we had an open house, Where the Irving is located now.

when she comes out in her original colors i'll put my shenango hat on for the event.(oiler,61'62).i'll probably need lots of kleenex also.

I forgot to say that I'm intrigued by any of the conversions to barge/tugs (Like the Kuber ships that were sold)

Never saw her, but the Red Wing was my favorite.

All time favorite is Cliffs Victory without question.

Current (still sailing) Frontenac, Blough & Ryerson.
