The only reason she hasn't been scrapped yet is because lower lakes has to manny contracts and they can't get rid of a ship. They were looking to buy ctc 1

Is this going to result in her retirement?

Its outer shell is cracked down the side. She can't sail out of confined waters I've been told, that would explain the shuttle run and most likely the cancellation of her drydocking.

Does anyone know how long she will be on this salt shuttle? Thanks

i heard a rumour that there was a crack in the deck

It's been in Cleveland. More importantly, it was to have been going into the graving dock at Bayship this winter and I have heard this has been cancelled. Has anyone else heard this or what might be going on with it? Thanks.
