This will be the first time as the JDL she has loaded grain in Duluth, she had a load of corn from Milwaukee 2 years ago and a load of wheat from Thunder Bay in 2005.

Re: Leitch and Can. Enterprise grain

She's carried grain a few times in her career. At least once in the late 1980s she loaded at Harvest States 2 in Superior. I seem to remember her carrying a grain cargo within the past few years, don't remember where she loaded it.

Canadian Enterprise is now on the schedule for CHS1 as well. She's carried a few grain cargoes in the last 4 or 5 years as well. With Canada aiming to close most if not all of their coal fired power plants it wouldn't be surprising to see more similar moves in the future, especially this year with what might turn out to be a fairly busy fall for grain shipments out of the Lakes.
