The houseboat was a good choice for us. It was the smallest offered by this rental company. Were we to do this again we would move up one size. This would offer a bit more living space and a real shower stall.

It was a great way to travel and allowed lots of time to relax and explore.

Thanks to Paul Beesley for the Rideau Canal photos. That trip along with the Trent-Severn Waterway is on my "bucket-list" of vacation trips. Paul, how was the houseboat? We have debated whether we would trailer our jet boat and camp out, cruise the NQFC Carver over, or just rent a houseboat.
